Biobot Analytics Launches Board of Advisors with Dr. John Brownstein as First Member

Dr. Brownstein is a Leader in Public Health and Epidemiology

Cambridge, Mass. – April 20th, 2021 – Biobot Analytics, leader in wastewater epidemiology,
today announced that Dr. John Brownstein, Chief Innovation Officer of Boston Children’s Hospital
and Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, has joined the company’s
newly-formed Board of Advisors.

business growth and provide us with high-caliber experience and expertise in the fields of

Dr. Brownstein’s work impacts the surveillance, control, and prevention of disease, and he has
been at the forefront of the development and application of citizen science and data analytics to
public health. In 2011, he cofounded Flu Near You (now OutbreaksNearMe.org), an online
participatory disease surveillance system. More recently, Dr. Brownstein was on the team that
launched VaccineFinder.org, a platform dedicated to helping Americans find locations that offer
COVID-19 vaccines

John Brownstein, PhD directs the Computational Epidemiology Lab and the Innovation and
Digital Health Accelerator, both at Boston Children’s Hospital. He was trained as an
epidemiologist at Yale University. Dr. Brownstein is also Cofounder of digital health companies
Epidemico and Circulation, and an ABC News Medical Contributor
