Our Work
Rollins College Used Wastewater Analytics to Keep Infection Numbers Low During COVID-19. In the fall of 2020, Rollins College grappled with an all too familiar but important question: how to safely reopen campus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Partnering with Biobot, administrators used wastewater analysis to track the virus spread in real-time. This allowed the college to take targeted mitigation measures, such as increased testing and contact tracing, in areas where the virus was spreading. As a result, Rollins kept infection numbers low on campus, preventing the spread of the virus to other students and staff.
